Terms of Use

The rules for using PXCL, PXCL Pro subscriptions and the templates inside the app. Your photos and creations always stay yours.

01Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of PXCL, the photo editing and collage app published by Jainam Rajpara ("we", "us"). By downloading or using PXCL you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These Terms are in addition to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If they conflict, these Terms apply to the extent allowed.

02Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use PXCL on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or use it to build a competing product.

03Your content

You keep all rights to the photos, videos and creations you make with PXCL ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership.

For features that process content on our servers, such as AI avatars, you give us a limited licence to process Your Content only to provide that feature to you.

You are responsible for Your Content. Only use photos you have the right to use, and do not use PXCL to create content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, hateful, or that impersonates or violates the privacy of others.

04Templates, stickers and fonts

Templates, frames, filters, stickers, fonts and other assets in PXCL belong to us or our licensors. You may use them inside your creations for personal and social media use, including on monetized creator accounts. You may not extract, resell or redistribute the assets on their own, or use them in a trademark or logo.

05PXCL Pro subscriptions

Some features need a PXCL Pro subscription or a one-time in-app purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active until it ends.
  • Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription, where applicable.

06Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, and are subject to Apple's policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.

07AI features

AI-generated results are created automatically and may be inaccurate or unexpected. Review results before sharing them. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission.

08Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app or our systems.
  • Do not use bots or scripts to access paid features or content.
  • Do not use PXCL in any way that breaks the law or the rights of others.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these Terms.

09Third-party services

PXCL may let you share to services such as Instagram or TikTok. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

10Disclaimer

PXCL is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own backups of photos you care about.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for PXCL in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

12Changes and termination

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the date above; continuing to use PXCL means you accept them. You can stop using PXCL at any time by deleting it. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers and liability, survive termination.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have in your country of residence.

14Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for PXCL or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any product claims or third-party intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
